Of all the games I have enjoyed playing over the years, games with a co-operative mode have been the most memorable. Even when the co-op mode was buggy, or limited, I still milked them for all they were worth. A good example of this is the Delta Force series of games. In one of the versions, the scripted events could only be triggered by the first player. While it didn’t prevent you from playing the game, it sure affected the game play experience.
Lately I’ve found it harder to find out which games have co-op, for whatever reason. Enter Co-Optimus, a new site which specializes in information about co-operative games. Though they’ve just launched, the site looks promising. It’s easy enough to look up games for a system and find out what kind of co-op there is. Very useful.
